LongThroat's Pineapple and Cucumber Smoothie!


Hey! That picture is not mine but the recipe was invented from one of my curious mix and match cooking adventures...way back 2010!!

Pineapples and Cucumbers go very well together. And this smoothie makes a filling meal.

First! Cucumber is great for your hair, skin and nails. It contains vitamin A, vitamin C, manganese, potassium, magnesium, silica and and chlorophyll.
Eating cucumber is a fantastic way to cool down your body and it has wonderful cleansing powers too.

Pineapple on the other hand is filled with bromelain, manganese, vitamin C. It has anti inflammatory properties, great for the eyes, and can help to boost your immunity.


How To:

Blend the same portion of soft frozen or super cold pineapple and cucumber chunks together till it becomes smooth.
Do not deseed or peel the green skin off the cucumber!
Refridgerate for an hour and then serve.

Serve with thinly sliced kiwi if you like.
